The miR-express™ lentiviral microRNA (miRNA) library 以現成lentiviral clone 的型式提供給客戶，讓使用者可以很方便的送進細胞中表現各種不同的primary microRNA (pri-miRNA)。這個collection 的microRNA序列均選自於Sanger miRbase database version 9.0 (http://microrna.sanger.ac.uk/sequences)
miR-express™ lentiviral microRNA clone 在設計時特別考慮到盡可能的保留住原始人類miRNA 的3端及5端的flank sequences。目的在於盡可能地模仿microRNA在人體的的自然機轉，如Drosha的作用過程以及內生作用的調節。因此我們在precursor miRNA的兩端幾乎保留住200 base pair的序列。

A primary miRNA transcript is encoded in the genome and transcribed as hairpins in the nucleus. These hairpins are initially processed by the enzyme Drosha/Pasha (DGCR8) and exported into the cytoplasm where it is further processed by Dicer into mature miRNA duplexes. After strand separation, the mature miRNA represses protein synthesis either by blocking translation or causing transcript degradation.

Marligen的 Vantage™ 產品系列的 Total RNA and microRNA Purification Kits提供快速有效的純化方式，過程中不需使用到phenol or chloroform。Vantage™ RNA Purification Kits 可以純化所有size 的RNA，從大的mRNA、rRNA 到小分子的 microRNA 或 siRNA 均可。Vantage™ microRNA Labeling Kits 是一組非常快速的Kit，只需45分鐘就可以label total or enriched LMW RNA ，這組Kit非常敏銳，提供優異的endogenous microRNAs偵測效果。這組Kit可以適用在所有RNA sample，如total RNA, enriched LMW RNA, amplified senseRNA and degraded RNA等。操作過程只包含簡單的2個步驟，讓RNA 3端的polyA tailed 結合 biotinylated 3DNA™複合物，每一個 3DNA™複合物均包含15個biotins 訊號，提高偵測靈敏度。最低偵測量可到100ng of total RNA extracted from or < 1pg of input RNA。適用於 xMAP® platform 亦可符合high throughput 偵測分析的需求。Vantage™ microRNA Multiplex Detection Panels 是一套disease-specific microRNA profiling panels ，採用Luminex xMAP®platform 分析平台技術。這套快速、簡單的hybridization assays 套件可以在90分鐘內完成，直接送上Luminex™ reader讀取資料。在不需放大的情況下，最低偵測量可達500 ng total RNA 。本產品主要應用在microRNA 相關的疾病研究，例如 Vantage™ microRNA Oncology Detection Panel 1 產品 則主用應用在miRNA RNA 相關solid tumor 疾病。
